- About
Little Josie has been diagnosed with same blood disorder as her sister, Adeline, and now needs a stem cell transplant. Managing Shwachman-Diamond syndrome requires a countless stream of doctors; orthopedics, orthotics, dieticians and gastroenterologists, practically every possible department is involved in Josie’s care.
To allow her the chance at a normal life and to grow up with her sister, she needs the same treatment: a stem cell transplant.
The money you raise and donate will add more potentially life-saving matches to this register and give more people with blood cancers and disorders, like Josie, a second chance at life. Adding each potential lifesaver costs DKMS £40, and we rely on the generosity of our supporters to cover this cost.
