Did you know that September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month?

To mark the occasion, Pete (above, right), Sally (above, centre) and Lisa (above, left) will be taking to the skies and braving a terrifying wing-walk. They will each spend 10 minutes standing on the wing of a plane as it reaches over 100mph and soars up to 700ft in the air. It is sure to be a thrilling experience!

But believe us, they're not taking on this epic challenge for fun - in fact they’re all terrified! Please support them, and the 2,000 people in the UK who need a lifesaving blood stem cell donation each year, by making a donation to DKMS.

Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer or a blood disorder. For many of these people, a blood stem cell transplant offers their best chance of survival, but finding a matching donor can prove difficult.

At DKMS, our mission is to register as many potential lifesavers as possible, giving more people with blood cancer a second chance of life. Adding each potential lifesaver to the register costs £40, and we rely on our supporters to cover this cost, so please consider donating today.

Pete, Sally and Lisa would be very grateful for your support!
